Last week I discovered Swurl (frozen yogurt café) in Montreal. Brand-new, Swurl opened its doors the previous Thursday. Co-owned and operated by Brian Etcovitch and Alexia Bitton, Swurl was conceived while Brian lived in LA devouring the fro-yo craze.
All flavours are fat-free, nut-free, and homemade. Perhaps not as vibrant as if made from real fruit, they’re an excellent base for the real stars of the show: toppings!
Toppings run the gamut from assorted fruit to cereals, Mae West pieces (YUM!), gummies, cookie pieces, sprinkles, sauces, and crumbled waffle cone.
